BDL Scorecards are multirole tools (just like some military
aircraft). They are used for three purposes:
1.
Analyze aggregate performance of corporate objects and processes and their synergy with other objects
2.
Develop recommendations and plans (financial and operational) for maximizing this performance
and synergy
3.
Link all relevant corporate documents to appropriate objects thus essentially creating a
comprehensive corporate knowledge base
There are three types of scorecards in in BDL: Aggregate Performance Scorecards (APS);
object KPI Scorecards (KPIS) and Document Evaluation Scorecards (DES). The
latter is actually a very specific version of APS.
